I know this is quite an old post, but a lab mate of mine recently showed me this “Marital Rating System” developed by Ph.D., M.D. in 1939 and I had to share. If you look around, there’s both a husband’s and a wife’s chart… Good thing I’m not looking for a husband in 1939 or my putting my cold feet on Andrew at night to warm them up could seriously get me in trouble (well, more than it already does)! Though honestly, I’d think some of these are pretty obvious traits that neither spouse should have, and it’s really this gender inequality that is the real problem…

Free Rice

Okay, I’ll admit that it’s entirely possible that I am the last person to learn about this website*, but it’s really addictive. 

It’s a game that tests your vocabulary.  Each time you get a word’s meaning correct, 20 grains of rice are donated to the UN World Program.  So, give Free Rice a whirl.  I bet you’ll have fun and you’ll get to help make strides toward ending hunger.

 *I heard about it forever ago, I just never actually looked at it.
