We have.. *drum roll please* Two bearded dragons, two rats, 1 crested gecko, 1 Betta, 3 Guppies, lots of crickets , and occassionally, whatever else Teisha sneaks home, like house geckos, snails, etc.

Plus, we’ll probably be getting a parrot (The aviary Teisha used to work at wants to give her a present… a thousand dollar present!). I hope it doesn’t drive me batty. But it’s supposed to be a quiet bird. Right, Teisha?

And incidently, all a separate computer room means to me is that my laptop will be on the bedside table. Heehee.

How many pets are you guys up to now? Andrew made it sound like more than the rats and lizards that I knew about.

We’re moving this weekend. I’m really excited. Luckily we’ll have a lot of friends (two with trucks!) to help us load everything and drive down the street and carry it up the stairs. I still think it’ll be more space than we really know what to do with… we’ll actually have our bed in a different room than the computers — quite an amazing thing!

And I love the Habitat! Even though the name is stange, admittedly. I thought about making cut-outs of the furniture before we moved in . . . but I proved to be too lazy. When do you guys move? Also, Jim wants to know why you took a picture of your dishwasher.

Their pet policy is “no dogs or cats”. We have, in writing, permission for our assorted cages, terrariums, and aquariums. Also, the Apartment Manager apparently loves pets, and has quite a few– enough that the agent we were working with commented on it. I don’t think we’ll have any problems. What’s the Habitat’s pet policy (you’re still living there, right?)?
